柏条河郊野公园位于都江堰精华灌区都江堰市核心区范围内。根据成都市的相关要求，我市拟将都江堰精华灌区都江堰市核心区打造成为以都江堰引水工程为主题的涉农公园。以水系渠系为脉络，对都江堰精华灌区核心区（约160平方公里）进行系统规划梳理和开发利用，推进生态文明建设、传承古代中国的水生态智慧、保护世界自然文化遗产、保护和彰显特色农耕文明遗产，按照历史眼光、国际视野、全球一流、成都特色、全域旅游的理念，打造成为世界级的水生态文化典范。

成都金马河是岷江干流，流经都江堰、温江、双流、新津，全长76.1公里。金马河都江堰主城区段两岸将规划建设万达文旅城、水果侠、滨河特色商业街、世界文化艺术精品中心、黄金博物馆等项目，为滨江新区文化娱乐集聚区的核心区域。

灵岩山位于都江堰市主城区北郊，是都江堰市第一批文化地标，属于青城山——都江堰国家级风景名胜区的重要组成部分。其最高海拔为1432米，山麓780米，特殊的地理环境造就了灵岩山独特的自然风貌。山上森林资源丰富，四季花开不败，古木参天，郁郁葱葱，景色幽美。在山顶上，可以俯瞰都江堰水利工程和城区风光。

都江堰是天府之源，滋润整个成都平原都江堰灌区，孕育2000多年水文化。天府源湿地公园是我市践行成都市委“西控”战略，紧扣成都生态涵养地、旅游支撑极功能定位，永葆世界自然文化“双遗产”本色，建设绿色都江堰，构建适应绿色发展的空间体系、产业体系、城乡体系和制度体系，打造“国际生态旅游名城”，争做成都建设全面体现新发展理念的国家中心城市的绿色发展示范区而着力打造的生态湿地公园。其旨在建成都江堰水文化展示区和体验地、生态湿地科普示范区、主客共享的城市休闲游憩新场所。
